Cool start of the morning with hot, hot, hot for the second lap: Results of the 2011 Kansas State Road Race Championship for Masters/Juniors. Roger Harrison wore a lot of hats today: promoter, course worker, official photographer. Another fine event by the ‘Lanterne Rouge’.

Sunday June 26th at Lake Perry, The Crocodile Rock will serve as the State Championship Mountain Bike Race for Kansas. Should be interesting to see if anyone doubles up after the Masters State Road Race on Saturday.

Saturday 6/25 is the date for the challenging Kansas Age Group Road Race in Olsburg, Kansas. Medals for 5 year age groups and State Championship bragging rights!

Just a few more days until the revamped (3 criterium/3 days) Tour of Kansas City kicks off. Early bird registration closes on 6/21

The State Championship Time Trial for Kansas featured a start house in the shade, strange east winds and some bumpy pavement. No it’s not Paris. Sunday June 19th enjoy the scenic Kansas City boulevards on the City of Fountains Tour.

Time Trial in Buckner. Great final tuneup for the Kansas State Time Trial Championship Go round and round at the Kansas Velodrome. 7PM Start time to learn how to track race. Directions on the State Track Flyer. Go round and round North of the River. A very friendly training criterium.
