Here’s a good cause and a good ride to raise funds for on Saturday May 15th. “The Jack & Coke Bike Ride, in memory of Jack Polson, is a benefit bike ride for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life – Team Strong Liver.”

This weekend offers two challenging events: The tough Auburn Time Trial on Saturday and the equally selective Road Race on Sunday. The TT makes a good preview for this Summer’s State Chrono.

Specialized Bicycle Components recently announced it is giving a grant, in the amount of $5,000, to a partnership between Epic Bike and Sport and Platte County, Missouri. The grant money will be used to install bike service stations in strategic locations along well traveled bike routes in Platte County.
