Jim Whittaker sends word that the Spring Fling on 3/1 will only be cancelled IF the course is slick. Chances are the nasty weather won’t move into the Lawrence area until after the races are over. Watch for more details on the Revolution Racing site. The ALS Perry Dam event for Sunday 3/2 is cancelled.

Sunday March  2nd brings the first race of the three event ALS Perry Road Series. It may also bring snow. Race director Roger Harrison has a back up plan just in case the roads aren’t in race shape for the first weekend. Roger will post course video early on race day showing current conditions. The 51st Tour of Kansas City for 2014 is adding Friday Night Street Sprints and a Saturday Gran Fondo. Saturday and Sunday will also feature criteriums; The New Longview course and an additional venue still to be announced. Registration for the Gran Fondo is open.
