Many commented that this was the hardest cyclocross course ever. While that might be a bit extreme, the Cliff Drive venue is arguably tough. A return to Havens Park for the kickoff event in Leavenworth. Early racers faced some slick corners caused by damp grass. Painful climbs followed by off camber and fast descents made this a challenging dry course; In the wet this track would have been Koppenberg like.
