 A very hot day at the Meltdown Mountain Bike Race at Wyandotte County Lake Park.  Yes, appropriately named (a few DNF’s among the results). These trails are some of the best in the midwest. RESULTS Lots of photos from Roger Harrison

Thursday 6/16. A flat test against the clock. Just outside of DeSoto (between Lawrence and the KC Metro), this is an excellent opportunity to add to your threshold fitness. FLYER

A 5K Time Trial on the Kansas Speedway. This mini-olympics is contested by the very focused and those not-so. Easterly winds reduced the times a bit compared to other years. RESULTS Oh, and we spotted at least one curious results. Sometimes these are revised ….

This great race has been around for quite a few years. It evolved from an early Blue River Bicycle Club event near Liberty, MO to the current full 10km course at Gardner (slightly different than the traditional/current LifeBalance track). Great support from local law enforcement. A day with low winds. Perfect RESULTS
