This is definitely a festival. Expect costumes and mayhem. But also expect a real good time on some of the best trails in the Midwest…with one gear. Saturday August 6th in Swope Park for the Race. Events begin on Friday. INFO here.

Light rain in the early morning made the track a little slippery for the first riders in the time trial events. This velodrome is on turf, and while it’s ‘all weather,’ conditions for speed and traction can be greatly affected.
