News Flash: Hawk Cross No Go/Sunflower Cross Maybe
Word on the street is that the KU Cycling Club will be unable to put together the second year of Hawk Cross Cyclocross this Sunday at Clinton Lake. However, it appears a replacement event is in the works and could be announced late today. Watch this space for further updates (and flyer).
Tilford and Stolte in New Zealand
The Localcycling news desk got this today:"Bill and I are in New Zealand doing the Tour of Southland. … You can follow this race at tourofsouthland.com. Trudi emailed and said the ‘crosses were good this weekend. It is super windy here. Crazy climate. Should make for an interesting race. Take care, Steve."
CrossLogic Challenge
Fine fall weather, fast grass, free food….all for the final event of the Mid America Cup. Good fields in all categories swept through E.H. Young Riverfront Park on a grassy course with three running features. At least for most.
Boss Cross 2005 Final
Jeremy Haynes swan song as promoter of this long running series was blessed with a perfect fall day. Jeremy with super volunteer Roger Harrison and crew made some small modifications to the season opening Lanterne Rouge course to create a fast and flowning event. Boss Cross Results
