The North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference is well under way.  With two race series now complete, the University of Kansas Cycling team has set the pace and shown other teams that KU is a major contender in this year’s conference.

A friend pointed out that today is affectionately known as ‘bicycle day’ among some folks. Drop the Sgt. Pepper or Jefferson Airplane Greatest Hits CD in and read about psychedelic cycling.

The second Wednesday of each month will feature a Ladies Only mountain bike ride at Shawnee Mission Park. For 2006, the Maxxis folks have announced their road and cyclocross series. Things kick off in Nebraska on April 22nd and 23rd with the Lincoln Plating Stage Race and continue through September.
