Sailor Lost…And Found

Thanks to a local cyclist, who spotted Sailor (a 14 month old lab who’d gotten spooked leaving the vet’s office and run off) near Quivira Park, this lost dog has been returned to his owners!   Local Cyclists ROCK!

Octoginta TT and Tour

Next weekend (9/30 and 10/1) is a nice end-of-the-road-season time trial and the following day’s Octoginta tour. Lots of roadies get together for the fast paced ride, camraderie and fun rest stops.

Once again over 50 riders turned out for the Boulevards/KCOI cyclocross clinic in Shawnee. ‘Take Home’ skills was the weeks theme, followed by some hard tempo riding on a simulated course. Time In Leavenworth

Bruce’s son Alex took a nasty crash that required some stitches, but is doing OK now. Matt Maher of our very own Trekbicyclestoreofkc/localcycling.com team won the Men’s 123.

Hot Cross

The season opening cyclocross for the metro area was attended by over 70 riders  and a fair number of cyclocross supporters. The race was contested on a hard and grassy 2.5K course with two runs per lap.
