The final weekend of the area cyclocross season featured two races at Herman Laird Park in Shawnee. Saturday’s Cross In the New Year was contested in bitter cold but dry conditions. Sunday’s Grote Prijs Shawnee conditions were slightly warmer but with snow on the ground and more wind.
