This Week In Cyclocross 11/1/10

Wednesday night “under the lights” return to Herman Laird Park in Shawnee. Start time 6:30PM.

The upcoming weekend is another double; two races in Lawrence at the same fresh venue.

Race One: “While this may be the first year for Joules Cross race this race will have all the perks of the best. In addition to the privately owned, permanent cyclocross course other amenities include: warm up track, practice barriers, registration tent, food & BEVERAGE tent next to parking, wheel pit near start finish, full course viewing from warm up area & parking, easy access from I-70, ten minute drive to downtown Lawrence, bike wash area on site, Roger Harrison photography and more. Come out and race to support the ALS Keith Worthington Chapter and the Women’s Free State Racing team. Prizes and beer are plentiful. See you on the 6th!”

Race Two: Sunday, November 7th it’s Roger Harrison’s turn. Veterans ‘Cross at the same venue with some category variations. Roger is using this one as a winter clothing gathering for a Kansas City Shelter. READ the flyer for info on how to register and the discounts.
