Bike Activities – New This Year!
11:00 AM, 1:00 PM – Bike Stop – Fix A Flat  

Toby, experienced bike mechanic, racer and commuter, will

demonstrate the magic of tire levers, how to patch a tube, and

put the tire back on the bike! See how fast it can be done!

12:00 PM – Bike Stop – Basic Bike Maintenance Tips

Toby, the bike dude, will demonstrate how to care for and

maintain your bike. From keeping your chain clean to properly

inflating your tires to checking your brakes, Toby will have tips for you!

11:00 AM, 1:00 PM – Major Taylor Foundation of Greater KC/
Missouri Bicycle Federation/Bikes & Trikes for Tykes – Bike Rodeo

Angela Green, LCI #1334 (Licensed Certified Instructor) will

lead children through a series of five bike skills stations, including

a rock dodge, quick stop, and look and turn/signal.  Each child must

register and parents must sign permission form prior to participation.

Registration will open at 10:00 AM. Sign up early! Only 10 spots

per session.

Spin, Spin, Spin!

Every ½ hour, beginning at 10:00 AM, join Induro Cycling

Instructor, Brennan, for a high energy mini-workout! Ever

tried spinning? Now’s your chance! Brought to you by Induro

Cycling and American Diabetes Association.

Free Bike Parking

Be treated like a VIP! Ride your bike to EarthFest and volunteers

with the Missouri Bicycle Federation will provide free, secure

bike parking for the day.

Recycled Bike Parts Jewelry

Kids of all ages are invited to make a bracelet, necklace or

keychain from discarded bike parts and other found objects.

Bring your creativity and take home a new fashion trend.
