Tim Johnson has a definite Kansas City connection. Mr. Johnson won two National Cyclocross Championships (2000 and 2007) in some of the nastiest Midwest weather. The Localcycling.com news team were part of the production (and registration website) for that first win.
Tim is also a passionate advocate for all cycling. His involvement with People for Bikes brings awareness and fundraising together for the cause.
This year, People For Bikes and Tim, will be kicking off their Ride On Chicago from Kansas City. The group hits the road on Thursday May 29th from the Kauffman Memorial Garden (site of the recent Womens Bike Summit). You can join the group on that start of their first leg, and of course donate.
