Wednesday 3/11 brings another round of World Cup Wednesday..urban mountain bike racing. Hopefully ALL the local trails will be dry soon. Do check before you ride to avoid damaging. The Earthriders Forum has a dedicated section for trail open/close info.
Wednesday Hill Ride from Shawnee will start on 3/18 with a likely shortened version for the first week (due to daylight). The popular (and brutal) ride will return to the ‘classic’ format of 4 major hills including Lawrence Road, Renner Road, Prairie Star, and 83rd Street. The ride begins promptly at 6:30PM at Bates City BBQ in Shawnee.
The upcoming weekend brings the second week of Spring Fling in Lawrence and the finale for the ALS Road Series at Lake Perry.
