Provided the World has not ended on Friday (or Saturday), the promoters of KC’s Christmas Week of Cyclocross will be starting the set up for the first of three races.
Our local version of Belgium’s big week includes Boxing Day Cyclocross 12/26, Grote Prijs Shawnee 12/30 and ‘Cross Off The Old Year 12/31.
In the interest of being a little more Holiday Green, we’re asking riders to do a little recycling for these upcoming events. If you can, please bring your own safety pins! Those that race frequently accumulate many dozens; let’s avoid wastage and re-use. If you show up to a Belgian race without them, you’re likely out of luck; they are rarely provided. Yes, there will be pins at these events if you forget or are short.
Christmas week will close out Series60CX. All three races are part of the series. Points will be updated in the next few days.
Get ready for Nationals at the first event, wind down after a full season at the second. The Wintery Mix Series gives us the final two local races of the season.
