While we’re only a little over a week from the Kansas State Cyclocross Championships (held with Joules Cross) on October 19th, we’ve learned that the Missouri State Cyclocross Championship will be held on a more traditional date.
For the MO CX Champs, riders will welcome a return to English Landing in Parkville on December 13th. This fast sandy course has been used by several area promoters over the years, and is possibly one of the most ‘Belgium’ like venues in the metro.
This race will slot in nicely for a full season leading to Nationals in Austin. December will feature a 12/7 race in KCK (benefiting the Humane Society), the Missouri Championship and the three “Christmas Week” races: Boxing Day, Grote Prijs Shawnee and ‘Cross Off The Old Year. Flyers are in the works for all these events.
