The second Wednesday of each month will feature a Ladies Only mountain bike ride at Shawnee Mission Park. Riders will meet at the top of the Marina Parking Lot (across from the Tennis Courts) for some dirt filled fun. Ride begins at 6:30 PM. This is not a paved trail ride, so at least front suspension is recommended, platform or clipless pedals strongly encouraged, helmet required.
A faster road ride will leave from Trek Bicycle Store of Kansas every Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Expect a fixed route and the possibility of a hill or two.
Both of these rides begin tonight 4/12.
