Traditional Cross Country Racin’: Series Style
Due to the rave reviews by racers at the 2006 Crank-N-Cruise, the same 5 mile race loop will be utilized for the 2007 race. Race will be staged at Shelter House #3. This venue is shaded and very spectator friendly. This is the old-original site for the “Crank-N-Cruise”.
Twisty single track with long sections of gentle contour trail for lots of Big Ring cruising. Throw in a couple of log jumps, a few moderate climbs and drop-ins to remind racers that this is a mountain bike race. Course will be 100% pampered and manicured to enhance your need for speed. Find out why Crowder is a racer favorite and has the reputation of being one of the most thrilling courses in the Midwest.

Trenton, MO REGISTRATION: On Site 9:30-11:30 am. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 9:30am Race Day registration opens.11:30am Registration closes. 11:45am Racer meeting. NOON And they're off! 2:00pm Kids Race2:30pm Awards ceremony COURSE INFO:Race Lap is approx. 5 miles long. Average lap time should be 25 minutes. Fast service road start with plenty of room and opportunity to pass and recover on subsequent laps. ACCOMMODATIONS: Crowder is 3 miles west of Trenton and 20 miles north of Chillicothe. Both communities have a wide variety of dining, lodging, and convenience options. DIRECTIONS TO CROWDER: Crowder State Park is located in North Missouri 3 miles west of Trenton.Crowder via I-35: Exit at any of the following exits:Northbound Exit 61- Winston/Hwy 69 Exit. (Crowder State Park Sign located at this exit)Exit 64- Hwy 6/Gallatin Exit. Once you have exited from I-35 on either exit 61 or 64 you will be traveling east for approx. 30 miles until you see the Crowder State Park sign at the junction of 146. (Look for the largest white cross in North Missouri!) Turn north (left) on 146 for approx. 1 mile to the park entrance. Crowder via Hwy. 65: Exit at Trenton on highway 6 through Trenton city limits and continue on 6 for approx. 3 miles to the intersection of 146 (See white cross)Look for the Crowder State Park sign and turn north (right) on 146 for approx. 1 mile to the park entrance.The Entrance will be well marked with signs and arrows!
