Hello to all of you,
As President of the Major Taylor Foundation of Greater Kansas City, I want to take this opportunity to first, thank each and every one of you who have encouraged, supported and assisted us in the development of this effort. There are so many of you that have had a part in this, and I want you to know that I consider the work I do to be something that I do for all of you.
With that, I am pleased to announce to you, that I received a letter on January 10, 2006, from the Internal Revenue Service, that the Major Taylor Foundation of Greater Kansas City is now officially a 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit organization.
Please, spread the word about the work that we do, and that we are on the move… Ready to promote cycling in the urban core, and making a difference in the lives of youth!
