Sunday May 24th brings the Jesse Blancarte Time Trial. This long running event has a few changes this year. The race is part of the KBAR Series and essential to tune up for the upcoming State Championship TT’s.
From the promoters:
-the course this year is a full 10.0K and thus slightly different than the traditional New Century TT route. The route includes Industrial Parkway and thus a turn off of and back onto New Century Parkway. The finish will be about 1/4 mile north of the traditional finish.
-we strive each year to make improvements for riders…this year we have 100% more porta-potties! (that means two)
-the Merckx Class has been a popular race in our experience, either for those without a TT bike or those wishing to ride an additional race. This year cash prizes go four places deep
