THE DEVIL’S REVENGE OPENS FAT TIRE SEASON
Saturday, March 7th the 2009 Fat Tire Duathlon series opens with the 5th Annual Devil’s Revenge Duathlon at Clinton Lake State Park. The Devil’s Revenge is a fun and challenging way to start your off-road season. Also, new this year we have a “Bike Only” option and have added more fun single track to our courses.
The Devil’s Revenge begins at 10:00am with a 3.75 mile trail run that includes single track, hills, rocks, creek crossings, and park roads. After a quick transition, the 11.5 mile mountain bike leg is up next. The mountain bike course is a combination of some fun single track, grass prairie, gravel roads, climbs and a few rocky sections just to keep you honest. After another quick transition, a short sprint to the finish line. Both Individuals and Relay teams can compete in this fun and challenging event. The Bike Only option will begin after the Duathlon at 10:15am.

Pre-registration ends Wednesday March 4th for the Duathlon. Due to limited quantities, event t-shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register so hurry and register now! Race day registration is available and opens at 8:00am.
