Plenty of events for Kansas City racers in the march towards the national championship in Austin, Texas.
December 7th is a fresh race: The Fast and The Furriest CX. On the grounds of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, the parcours has a distinctive mound mid-lap that will test running legs. There will be plenty of food and a raffle, with proceeds going to the Humane Society.
December 13th is a return to Parkville, MO for the Missouri State Championship. Always a great venue. Probably some sand.
December 26th is the first race of the metro’s Christmas Week of racing: Boxing Day. The promoters are waiting for final confirmation, but the event will have a new course just South of previous years on property adjacent to Leawood Park. Indoor registration (and party) as well as parking will remain at sponsoring shop Elite Cycling.
December 28th Grote Prijs Shawnee at Herman Laird Park in Shawnee. Indoor registration, Boulevard Beer and possibly a ‘heavy’ winter course.
December 31st ‘Cross Off The Old Year finishes Series60CX. Also at Herman Laird. Big party.
