Another two race weekend coming up. Both Colavita Cup and Boulevard Cup were compelled to move from Stump Park for 2013. Details on Saturday 11/2’s Colavita, including where to park are here.
The Localcycling.com news team did some scouting of the property, just South of the Shawnee Civic Center and found a surprising amount of terrain features on what first looks to be a fairly flat space. Note the parking suggestions in the above link.
Sunday 11/3 will be Boulevard at the Shawnee Civic Center, site of the recent Boss Cross and earlier Rad Cross. Mike and crew have some change-ups planned.
There’s been some back and forth among the promoters trying to rescue/add events to the calendar. While Nov 10th will not see a race, there may be a Veldrijden style longish training ride with an afterparty in the works. Details soon.
Epic Holiday Cross will move to December 1st with an altered but full length course. Flyer is on the way. December 15th has a potential fresh venue and new sponsors for an East side of the metro race.
Lastly, the yet to be named Indoor Cyclocross at Hale Auditorium is closer to reality. IF everything is approved the promoters will make an official announcement in early November. Yes, INDOOR cyclocross.
