The next cyclocross races on the local calendar are both State Championships. The Missouri State Championship at E.H. Young Park in Riverside crosses the state from the St. Louis side for the the first time Saturday December 4th.
The following day, Sunday December 5th, Hummer Park in Topeka hosts the Kansas Championship.
While the local calendar continues with plenty more races, a void in December was noticed by area promoters. Watch for an announcement Thanksgiving Weekend for a December 26th “Boxing Day” race at a fresh new venues.
The new event gives the scene a shortened “Christmas Week” of racing similar to the classic schedule in Belgium.
