KLM Marketing Solutions UCI Cyclocross: Perfect Tune Up For Nationals

(Overland Park, KS) – The weekend of Dec 2nd and 3rd cyclocross riders from around the country will travel to Kansas for the perfect tune up race before the upcoming USCF Cyclocross National Championships.  The 2nd Annual KLM Marketing Solutions UCI Cyclocross and Missouri State Cyclocross Championships offer an ideal date, a well designed rolling course, and a location in the center of the U.S.

Just minutes from downtown Kansas City and located near a major airport and hotels, this event brings top level competition to the Midwest. The Unified Government of Wyandotte County hosts the event at Wyandotte County Park, a 360 acre rider’s “dream facility” with fast terrain and painful run-ups.  This venue will also be the site of the 2007 & 2008 USCF Cyclocross Nationals, giving riders a chance to preview future championships.

“KLM has been working with the Unified Government for two years to ensure that the venue has the capabilities to host Nationals” stated Wayne Burns, Director of the Unified Government Parks and Recreation Department. In its inaugural year 4 Time Cyclocross National Champion Steve Tilford battled the turf against former Junior World Champion Matt Kelly, while top regional riders contested all other categories.
