It feels quite good to be back in the states after a long trip filled with all the joys of early season racing — Lung burning tt’s, racing women who are super fit, crashes and punctures! Gotta love it!
I had a puncture with ten laps to go in the Wellington World Cup and was never able to regain contact with the leaders. oh well! The training was fantastic and the experience racing with the best in the world was a great way for me to start off a new season.
Now I am in San Francisco resting up a bit, I haven’t even unpacked my bike yet!! I’ll be back home on friday for a couple of weeks before heading back out to California for Garret Lemire and
Sea Otter.
Hopefully, I will see some of you at the races.
Thanks for reading and happy training! kb
