Only one more Gardner Time Trial left for the 2014 season. The August event had moderate winds and reasonable temperatures. Roger Harrison worked the turnaround and took some photos (this guy is truly awesome). RESULTS at the LifeBalance Sports blog.

We have some sad news to report. Area cyclist Cal Melick was killed by an automobile while riding near Lone Star Lake outside of Lawrence. Cal was a mentor to many area racers and riders. Steve Tilford posts his thoughts on his blog.

Wyco’s Revenge mountain bike race results and pics are up at the official blog. Many people are raving about this venue as some of the top area trails to race or play.
