Lots of junior age racers showed up for the only night race of the local season. Mild temperatures and mostly dry ground made this a different course than previous years. Most of the expected rain held off leaving a slightly tacky course. Strong head winds on the long straights made this a tactical race. Saturday 11/12 St. Joseph hosts a great cyclocross race. The Hyde Park venue offers a variety of nice features including some natural run ups and plenty of swooping corners. Here’s the blog with some preview photos. Well worth a short drive from Kansas City. FLYER
