The USCF Kansas Criterium Championship for Categories was held this weekend. Kansas holds separate champs for Masters and Categories (i.e 1, 2 , 3, 4 etc.). Results here. Next up the Category Time Trial Championship 40K near Pittsburg: Details here.

We have some sad news to pass on, Scott Smith of the Blue River Bicycle Club died after a training ride on Thursday night of an apparent heart attack. Scott was a good friend to many in the racing community. There is a tribute here on the BRBC page.

The Discovery Team night at the Trek Bicycle Store of KC benefited two worthy local organizations:   Headstrong for Jake and The Major Taylor Foundation of Greater Kansas City. Dan Hansen presents the proceeds.
