Have you ever been inside the Kansas Speedway? Ever wondered what it is like to go around the track? On June 23, 2007 you can join a group of serious and recreational cyclists at the Speedway for the 1st. Annual WIM Bike-A-Thon for Medical Missions.
Choose from two challenges – Rack up the laps on the Kansas Speedway, then refresh in the pits -or- Take the 25 mile challenge through the beautiful scenic hills of Wyandotte County Lake and finish with victory laps around the Kansas Speedway.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. There will be live Christian bands, food and prizes. A minimum pledge of $25 is required for entrance onto the Speedway. Children under 12 years of age need a pledge of only $10 when accompanied by a registered adult.
Not only will you experience a fun evening with family and friends, but your minimum pledge will help a local health care ministry purchase needed dental equipment and medical supplies to serve the poor in developing countries. All proceeds will benefit World Indigenous Missions health care ministry.
