–Lawrence, Kansas Cyclocross Training Series–
This is the last practice session of the series, so come out and
practice your cross skills for the upcoming season.
Once again, anyone is welcome to show up, and individuals
new to the sport are highly encouraged as well. If you have a cross
bike…great, but if you do not, you can participate on a mountain
bike.
Just remember, like actual races, if you ride a mountain bike make
sure to remove your bar ends.
The practices will be free for anyone.
The evenings will start at 6:30 and last from an hour to an hour
and a half.
Sept. 26th—Clinton Park – 5th and Maine (behind Pinckney School)
Basic drills. More practice on advanced techniques.
35-40 minutes of race pace (depending on daylight)
Water and a bathroom are available at the park.
Participation is of course at your own risk.
A special thanks to Sunflower Outdoor and Bike, and Anderson Rentals
for their support in putting on these free events.
