The USAC event page for Kansas has a lot going on for August, but one of the lesser known upcoming events is the State Track Championship.
Come to the Lawrence Grass Velodrome on Sunday August 6th and watch (or race) some pretty exciting events. The day will feature time trial and mass start racing. Sponsors Anderson Rental will provide some seating and shade, Localcycling.com will provide some beer. IF you want to race, there’s one more opportunity to take the safety clinic on Thursday August 3rd. Clinic starts at 6:45PM.
