Saturday March 28th is the NEXT Spring Fling Crit for 2015. The finale Spring Fling will be April 4 (a makeup race).
That leads into phase two of the area road season:
April leads off with the Sunflower Games TTT. Our news team has spotted a number of squads preparing for this event. Certainly a great way to make a cohesive team. The day after (April 12) is one of our own regional monuments, the Bazaar Road Race.
Next up is the Bruce Edwards Memorial Time Trial. Another early season event that will pay off for those who attend (it’s not that long until State Championships).
For your midweek efforts, the Hill Ride in Shawnee happens every Wednesday. The ride returns to it’s classic 4 climbs beginning with Lawrence Road. 6:30PM Start at Bates City BBQ, 65th and Nieman.
The Gardner  monthly Time Trials begin in May. Tuesday Night Worlds are still a few weeks away, the promoters are weighing some course/venue options; but this essential event will continue. Stay tuned.
