Saturday 12/6 you can get a FREE organized cyclocross play ride in:
“It starts at cliff drive, at the WEST GATE JUST OFF PASEO. We will ride the sweet single track and the cliff drive cx course, then make are way across downtown to Roanoke….another mini race with lots of singletrack “riding.” After that, we’ll cruise the new super Rozarks and Mt. Marty Trails. If there’s energy, we’ll have another mini race at the dirt track.
Ride starts at 2. Bring lights in case you drive to the ride and have to ride back to where you parked. There will be free beer after the last ride.
Begins at the west gate just off Paseo and Cliff drive.”
Sunday 12/7 It’s the fresh race on the calendar: Fast and the Furriest, a benefit for the Humane Society of GKC. PARKING for this event is in a lot on the East Side of the venue. It’s a private lot at Parallel and North 54th Street. Bring some cash for raffle and donations for the food and (of course) beer!
