Roger Harrison’s flagship Veterans ‘Cross returned with a flat and fast course. 140 racers were treated to a beautiful (but gusty) Fall day and lots of amenities. Food and beer served up by host club Big D, lots of awards (5 year age groups) and special prizes for past and present members of the armed forces.
Besides promoting the event, Roger managed to be the man on the mic as well as shoot these great photos.
No local event on the calendar for the upcoming weekend. Many racers are heading to Jingle Cross. There are rumors of a ‘show and go’ race. Stay Tuned.
