Fresh info on the upcoming Sunflower Games:
“The Sunflower State Games will once again be held over three days in July from the 12th-14th. As in years past things will kick off with the TT Friday night. New for 2013 is an out and back course starting in Auburn, KS. The Critrerium will be on the always fast, flat Forbes Field circuit on Saturday. Things wrap up on Sunday with the Road Race starting from Heartland Park Topeka. Due to two construction projects in the area the short and long course have been altered accordingly. They should still make for lively and challenging racing in SE Shawnee County. The Games are still in need of volunteers for any of these events, but especially the Road Race. In fact, if you are racing and can provide a volunteer you will receive half-off that days’ entry fee.
