Here’s a pretty cool thing. A facility in western Shawnee dedicated to cyclocross training. Thanks to the Ethos folks, who spent some time in developing the course.
For those of you who participated in the Kansas Track Championships a few years back, it’s familiar ground as the site of the intial grass velodrome. The City of Shawnee has been very receptive to cycling; Bike Friendly City, host of the Tour of Shawnee, Colavita Cup, Boulevard Cup, Grote Prijs Shawnee and ‘Cross Off The Old Year.
