Herman Laird Park in Shawnee has been used by cyclocrossers on Wednesday nights for years. The handy tennis court lights, grass/pavement combintation and a supportive Park Department, have made this venue an essential night training spot.
With the USAC Cyclocross Championships moving to January, the local schedule was modified, and the nomrally daylight Grote Prijs was held under the lights at Herman Laird. Great weather, good turn out.
