Back to back races at Stump Park in Shawnee kickoff the 2011 edition of the Series60CX.
Day one, Saturday November 5th is the 360 Cup. Expect a challenging course on the North side of the Park, probably favoring the climbers.
Day Two Saturday November 6th is the popular Boulevard Cup. Traditionally one of the largest races in the area, full fields, big crowds and slightly flatter track on the South end.
The series travels to Topeka next for the Grand Prix HPT night race. Depending on the weather, this race can offer blistering fast speeds on the dirt, or painful heavy running.
More Topeka racing at Hummer Park for the Capital Cup on 12/10 and the Kansas State Cyclocross Championship on 12/11. Wide grassy Euro World Cup style racing. Nobody tapes a course better.
The final segment of Series60 is a “Christmas Week” of racing:
Monday Dec 26th, Boxing Day Cyclocross at Mission Farms has been added.
Wednesday Night Dec 28th at Herman Laird Park, the Grote Prijs Shawnee under the lights.
Saturday Dec 31st, the season finale, “Cross Out the Old Year. A full on party at Herman Laird with a DEEP series award ceremony. Flyers for all races will be up in the next few days.
