Dear AIDS Bicycle Challenge participants & friends,
As Co-Chair of the 2009 & 2010 AIDS Bicycle Challenge, I would like to inform you of a great opportunity to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and to promote cycling in our community.
World AIDS Day, now in its 29th year, is on December 1, 2009. My fellow Co-Chair Theresa Van Ackeren and I invite you to help us raise awareness in the fight by cycling 29 miles (a mile for each year of the HIV/AIDS Pandemic). Rides are taking place in Kansas City, Los Angles, San Francisco, San Diego, Salt Lake City, and New York to name a few.
We encourage you to join your friends from ABC and Family Bicycles THIS SUNDAY, November 29, 2009 at 11am to commemorate World AIDS Day. We will provide a route map, ride leader and sweep, but be prepared to ride 29 miles unsupported.
Free T-Shirt to the first 20 riders to show-up generously donated by am grafx (Jeanne Barnhill). One More Cup has kindly donated coffee to help send us off caffeinated!
We encourage you to join us wearing RED and come out and ride with the Co-Chairs of the 2009/2010 AIDS Bicycle Challenge. Helmets Required!
Ride Starts at 11am
