Two Series60CX races this weekend. Here’s some details from the Boulevard Cup folks:
That’s been the goal of the Boulevard Cup since it’s humble beginnings in the pocket parks of Wyandotte County. This Sunday’s 2009 edition of the race will again be held at the expansive Wyandotte County Park. Racers will be challenged by a fast course that will reward fitness and skills in equal measure and will provide plenty of convenient viewing locations for those watching the action. Racers and spectators alike will be treated to the music and race narration of nationally known DJ John Lefler, plenty of great food prepared and, of course, beverages supplied by Boulevard Brewing.
The race will benefit World Bicycle Relief, a cycling industry program that puts bikes in the hands of aid workers around the globe. Event sponsor Boulevard Brewing has generously donated a party at the Brewery Tasting room for you and 30 of your friends that will be raffled, with all proceeds going to WBR.
In addition to the Brewery, event sponsors include Voler Custom Cycling Apparel, Hammer Nutrition, Roasterie Coffee, Re:Velo, Dandi Natural Soaps and RoadID safety gear. Venue support generously provided by Wyandotte County Parks and Recreation.
