Some pretty good downpours in the late races changed the dynamics of the Lees Summit criterium; slippery corners rewarded bike handling skills: Results Day 2.
The final day brought racing back to downtown Kansas City. The last time this area had a similar event it was Alexi Grewal and the Suburu Classic in the 80’s. Activites including an Art Fair in the Power And Light helped drive spectators to the fast and furious racing near Bartle Hall. Results Day 3.

The metro now has a pretty amazing summer; the first weekend of Tour of KC pulled off in superb style, next on board the Tour of Lawrence, and then another round of classic Tour of Kansas City.
