Officials Clinic This Weekend

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a bicycle race official now’s the time. The
Kansas Cycling Association is hosting a one day traing clinic June 13th (this weekend)
& July 26th in Lenexa, KS (southwest KC).

Attending either 4.5 hour clinic and passing an open book test will allow you to
become a level “C” official. An annual officials license is just $35 and there
is no fee for the clinic.

If you ride motorcycles when you’re off the bike the KCA is also hosting a moto-ref
(motorcycle riding official) clinic July 25th in Lenexa.

Contact Margretta DeVries at margrettadevries@sbcglobal.net

or 785-424-3752 to reserve a spot at any of these clinics.
Officials get paid a per day fee and mileage to travel to races. A good quality
official is always in demand.
Happy riding,

Roger Lomshek
