The 2008 Kansas CX Championships had nearly 4 times the turnout of the 2007 edition. The weather conditions of the two events no doubt being a huge factor in the difference. Sunday's '08 weather was cold in the a.m. but dry; opposed to last year's snow and ice. The course featured two sections of brick road, a set of fast boards, and a step-cut dirt hill. A very appropriate championship course. With the fast conditions, a few riders over-cooked some of the twisty grass corners.
