We're coming up on the big Missouri MS 150 Ride. There are a lot of great teams that do this event, some pals of ours asked us to post this bit below about their version:
Team CUTTERS Kansas City Multiple Sclerosis 150 Ride – September 6 and 7, 2008.
Many Slimenundgrossen and localcycling.com members are interested in riding in this year’s MS 150. You all should know about a fantastic team headed by a Slimenundgrossen team member—Matt Culp. The team name is CUTTERS, and they are straight out of the movie Breaking Away. The team is notoriously the fastest in the MS 150, and they boast several category two racers. It really is a well run team, and they provide their own catered meals (dinner on Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning), beer, and even have three masseuses to rub legs Saturday night. There is music and general frivolity. Most of the CUTTERS members are repeat riders, and report having a great time.

Other Slimenundgrossen team members who will ride this year include the legendarily fast Bob Clark and Larry Smith. In years past, the state cyclocross champion, Kyle Bush, pulled the train to Sedalia. David Edwards has been along for every ride but one. It really is a great time, and we hope to see you there.
