It’s not really a secret that Lawrence, Kansas would like to host the USAC Cyclocross National Championships. The KC Metro area has held the event three times previously (2000, 2007 and 2008). The 360 Cup course at Centennial Park proved that a Championship level course can be constructed in the heart of Lawrence.
The long (nearly 3km) track had plenty of power straights, a road start, and surprisingly hard short climbs. The 360 Race Team made sure plenty of Free State Beer was flowing for spectators.
