Saturday 1/14 Registration opens for the Dirty Kanza. Check the details here, but remember there are hard limits.

The Big Grin Memorial Ride scheduled for Sunday 1/15 has been postponed for two weeks. Some pretty nasty icy roads are expected for the original date.

The final race of the local cyclocross season was a 'do-over' of the previous Wednesday's course at Herman Laird. Daytime temps, visibility and dry ground made for fast lap times.

The Junior fields continue to grow, with a number using the event as a final tune up before the National Championship in Hartford: USAC National Cyclocross Championships

Lots of junior age racers showed up for the only night race of the local season. Mild temperatures and mostly dry ground made this a different course than previous years.

Most of the expected rain held off leaving a slightly tacky course. Strong head winds on the long straights made this a tactical race. The Boxing Day race continues to offer a deceivingly challenging course.

'Cross Off The Old Year at Herman Laird Park on December 31st. Big pavement start (as always), lots of corners, a trip through the old farm. This event closes out Series60CX with a lot of awards. FLYER

Sunday November 27th it's the third year for the Fast And Furriest Cyclocross. Despite the small size of the venue, there are plenty of features and plenty of hard.

Expect a variety of cool auction/raffle items available to raise funds for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.

Plus beer and food for a small donation. Part of Series60CX and the last local race until Christmas Week with Boxing Day CX, Groter Prijs Shawnee and 'Cross Off The Old Year.

The 2016 Kansas Age Group Cyclocross Championships were held in Lawrence over the weekend. Team 360 racing once again hosted the event. A cold start for the day, but plenty of awesome warm food for specatators and racers was available to fight the chill. A flowy course featured a couple of punchy climbs. In addition, the USADA folks showed up to conduct a few drug tests. Unusual for a race this size, but possibly a new 'normal'.
