Coming up: Gravel!

Final RESULTS from Truman Cup and lots of great photos from Jesse Miguel

This weekend, on Sunday 7/31 it's the Kansas Track Championship. This is the 7th consecutive year it's been held on a grass velodrome. There's been a lot of love put into bringing track racing to the area. You can still take the safety clinic on Thursday 7/21 that enables a rider to do the mass start events. The Time Trial events don't require the clinic, but it's advised. Flyer

Time Trial RESULTS are up for Truman, hot, hot.

Roger Harrison is on duty as photographer, check out his images.

One more day of racing on Sunday. FLYER Well worth a bike ride over to watch IF you're not racing.

In theory the midwest 'heat dome' had not arrive yet, but the temp and humidity combo made things tough.

and one of the best regional weekends of road: Tour of Lawrence

Sunday July 10th, the Sunflower Games presents the USAC Age Group State Championship Road Race.

Plenty of medals on the line. A rolling course and as always excellent organization.

It's track time. We do have to remind riders that there is a Velodrome in the metro area; and the Kansas Track Championships have been resurrected since 2009!

Here's the background story on the Lawrence Grass Velodrome.

Come out on Thursday nights for some free training, certification and racing: Coach Pat has set up a six event Omnium beginning June 23rd.

A very hot day at the Meltdown Mountain Bike Race at Wyandotte County Lake Park.  Yes, appropriately named (a few DNF's among the results). These trails are some of the best in the midwest.
